Caroline Elizabeth Jones

Executive coaching for military & public service

You knew the mission. Now you have to build the next one yourself.

Leaving service, or leading inside government, brings its own kind of pressure. Structure disappears or multiplies. I help veterans and public service leaders turn what they know into what's next, without losing themselves on the way.

Sound familiar?

The pressure you're carrying.

  • You're leaving a mission you understood for one you have to define.
  • Your skills are real. Translating them for a civilian role is harder than you expected.
  • The rank, the structure and the team are gone. So is part of who you were.
  • You're used to pushing through. It isn't working the way it used to.
  • In public service, you're doing more with less and answering to everyone.

Why Caroline

I know mission work.

I spent two years running operations for the U.S. Air Force at Ramstein, Germany. It's where I learned to lead inside a chain of command.

Then I built a career at Stanford and Gilead. I know what it takes to carry what you learned there into a new kind of mission.

How we work

See the road you're on. Build the one you want.

  1. Recognize the pattern. We name the road you default to under pressure, and where it came from.
  2. Steady your body first. You can't choose a new road while you're holding your breath.
  3. Build the new road.We practice it on your real decisions until it holds on your worst week.
